The author clearly thinks that sexual abuse happens on a scale and some is worse than others.
The author believes the abuse in the play isn’t that bad.
Would the author like to be molested while sitting on someone’s lap in a car? Let’s take a vote. As you say, it’s ‘pretty tame.’
